Hi, I’m Dr. Leslie!
I have over 25 years’ experience treating mental health and substance abuse disorders with the underserved in Texas, Alaska, Arizona, and Veterans in California and Nevada. I spent much of that time in Indian Country on the reservation. 2014 I received my doctoral degree in behavioral health (DBH), specifically primary care behavioral health. I am currently licensed as an (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, serving Texans in private practice since 2018 while also transitioning to a virtual statewide practice in 2022. I have a Solution solution-focused holistic approach to Therapy, getting quick results; and relief while also digging deeper into the heart of matters, Trauma treatment to Life Coaching.
Someone receiving care from me will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and comfort of their own home and the relaxing nature of my style coupled with my expertise. Women's life issues, trauma, and empowerment are of particular interest. The Take Your Life Back &More Program has become the primary focus of my practice. I also have expertise in group, intimate partners, and family therapy. I have core values in behavioral health access, so all people and issues are welcome. We are an all-inclusive organization. We want our clients to match their therapist’s style well.
I am accepting new clients for Individual, Intimate Partners, and Family therapy. Participants for “Take Your Life Back &More” are screened through Therapy Services.

BILLING SUPPORT
Stacey provides insurance billing support to our clinical program and clients who present with insurance. She has been the primary billing support since the business inception in 2018. We are so lucky to have her expertise and her humor, and of course her lovely canning abilities at holidays and birthdays. Thanks Stacey!
“When Human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is to help bring healing to people who have experienced struggles with alcohol, drugs or other addictive issues. Since 2005 I have worked with people in individual, group and treatment center settings. Through my work, I am also committed to helping people overcome depression, anxiety, anger issues and other stresses that affect all of us at some time in our lives.”
“I believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment, and I cooperatively assist my clients in clarifying their goals for treatment. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling. I am accepting new clients.”
